Daft Punk Vocoder in Ableton Live

One of the things Daft Punk is most famous for, is their vocoder sound. And since they announced their break up 2 months ago, I think this was the perfect opportunity to give you this preset.

The vocoder is a type of synthesizer that is used to create a robotic or mechanical voice effect. It was popularized by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk in their songs such as “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” and “Around the World.” The vocoder works by analyzing the frequency spectrum of a human voice and then applying that spectrum to a synthesized sound, such as a synthesized choir or brass instrument. This creates a unique and futuristic sound that has become synonymous with Daft Punk’s music.
